Has Jon Stewart hit the nail on the head?
Interesting, and scary, analysis of the financial debacle.

Here is a clip from the Cramer interview. It's well worth watching the entire piece.

I ran across this story the other day. There are more here from the BBC.

I actually followed this car up Kingston Road a couple of years ago. It made me chuckle

Paul Movie Reviews (Ratings Max. 5 Stars)

Tropic Thunder
3 stars 14A
A good afternoon's entertainment. Watch from the very beginning. Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. Nick Nolte and Tom (yes can you believe) Cruise and a host of other cameo appearances.
Bob: "An over-the-top spoof of action movies and movies stars. Very high EPM. (explosions per minute)"
Karen: "Who knew Ben Stiller was so buff."

There Will be Blood
(also titled "There will be dialogue at some point in the first hour" or "There will be an ending to this movie if you can stay awake long enough"
4 stars 14A
Bob: "Really good movie for the parts I could stay awake for."
Karen: "Daniel Day-Lewis was amazing."

Ghost Town
2 stars Family
Ricky Gervais does his thing in this romantic comedy.
Bob: "Not so romantic but pretty funny."
Karen: "Bob hates romantic comedies so thats a great review. Tea Leone is the best cry on the big screen."

Paschendale
1 star Family
This WW1 movie about one of the most horrific and gut-wrenching battles in Canadian military history, can be said to be the event that defined Canada as an independent nation. Previous to this battle we saw ourselves as a colony of Britain. Afterwards, we learned that the British would sacrifice Canadian troops wantonly. This battle proved to Canadians and the world that Canadian soldiers are the equal to any army in the world.
Bob: "This movie takes the horror and the drama of Paschendale and wraps it in a dime-store love story. There was no sense of the scale of the battle of the horror of the battle or the importance of the battle. There is only Paul Gross mooning about, looking impossibly handsome...waiting for his girlfriend who improbably shows up as a nurse in the field hospital where he is recovering."
Karen: "Paul Gross...don't mess with history. Really pisses Bob off."

Way too perky
